I stepped into the front door, smiling at the beauty of the place, despite its obvious disrepair. I smiled down at my newborn son, sleeping soundly in my arms.
"Lucky boy. Gramma and Grampa got this place for us, for you."
At the moment my money troubles were the farthest thing from my mind. All I could think about was the sunlight pouring in through the dusty windows and my sleeping son, and Snow...out in the front yard.
"Come on girl!" I called. Snow tumbled into the house. "Well what do you think baby?" I asked, speaking both to my 12 week old pup and my newborn son.

My husband and I looked at our neighbors across the street. Ethan was crying, and Erin needed a diaper change. I grabbed a flower, and my daughter and walked across the street. My husband followed, carrying my son.

"Come in." I said, both to my neighbors from across the street. I noticed the sunny day was turning to snow.
